"The State Department, of course, is aware of this incident and is currently monitoring and addressing the matter. The department takes seriously its responsibility to safeguard its information and continuously take steps to improve the department's cybersecurity posture to prevent future incidents. For security reasons, we do not have any further details to provide at this time," State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said Tuesday.

"We have to continue, we have to keep fighting. Ukraine is not going to back down," Kuleba said. It was a major policy shift for a country that had wavered over fear of provoking Russia. The announcement by Germany, Europe's biggest economy and one of Russia's most important Western trading partners, was among many signals on Tuesday pointing to further escalation in the war and disappointment for diplomacy. Germany's shift on weapons also was seen as a strong affirmation of a toughened message by the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden, which has said it wants to see Russia not only defeated in Ukraine but seriously weakened from the conflict that Russian President Vladimir Putin began two months ago. Singapore is tapping artificial intelligence as the next part of its "Smart Nation" project, the city-state's foreign minister announced Tuesday. The strategy identifies five areas -- transportation, smart cities, healthcare, education and public safety -- where AI can be used to make big change.
